Robert Czerny

Robert Czerny brings 35 years of government and private sector experience to this topic. He is the author of the guide The Federal Government as ‘Partner’: Six Steps to Successful Collaboration, published by Treasury Board in 1995. He has produced strategic guidelines and partnering toolkits for federal government clients including Team Canada Inc, Veterans Affairs Canada, Parks Canada Agency, Library of Parliament, PWGSC and Canadian Heritage. Robert co-founded PartnerNet and coordinated this community of partnership and sponsorship practitioners for its first five years. He is also an experienced educator/ trainer and program evaluator, and includes ethics and communications in his consulting offerings.


David Mulcaster

David Mulcaster spent most of his 30 year government career at Industry Canada and one of its predecessors, Communications Canada, as the Director General of the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) Branch in Ottawa and as the Regional Executive Director for Atlantic Canada. Since 2002, David was instrumental in establishing a student entrepreneurship program at Dalhousie University; became an entrepreneur as a co-founder of a communications technology company; and is now an Associate with a private equity broker and business advisory group. The bedrock of many of these endeavours has been a successful partnership with domestic and international private interests, governments and academic institutions.
